In-Person Law Student Volunteer

Use Your Current Skills

As a law student volunteer, you will put the legal knowledge you get from class into practice—gaining hands-on experience while building connections and providing needed services to your community.

You will help provide quality legal services to individuals who don’t have the resources to pay a private lawyer.

Under the supervision of qualified and licensed NOMAS lawyers and certified Accredited Representatives, you will:

  • Perform legal intake interviews with prospective clients.
  • Listen to prospective clients and gather important facts about their situations.
  • Help gather evidence and prepare immigration petitions and applications.
